Mingle on the Mountain
On October 15th Rotarians from our local area got together with their families to “Mingle on the Mountain”.  The event was hosted by the Conrad Weiser Club as well as the Spring Township Centennial Club and included members from other local clubs in addition to a couple of potential members.  It was an event to celebrate being a part of such a wonderful organization while networking or as we like to call it “mingling” with other professionals.  Attendees were given the opportunity to enjoy a private hayride along the South Mountain Trail that ended with a breathtaking view that overlooked part of Berks County.  Rotary is not only about serving others and our community, we are about family and friends.  Please consider joining us for our next event, date and time will be announced in our future bulletin.

Wild Edibles
September 24th was a beautiful day for a foraging walk!  A group of Rotarians gathered at the Shiloh Hills Environmental center for a guided walk by Debbie Naha who led us on a journey to wild edible plants.  We learned that A LOT of what is in our great backyards is safe to eat.  We hope that you will be able to join us next time!

What is Rotary
We are 1.2 million neighbors, friends, and community
leaders who come together to create positive, lasting
change in our communities and around the world. We
meet regularly to plan and implement community service
activities and network with others. Some Members choose
to become involved in international humanitarian service efforts.
And We Have Fun!
